Hot Honey Whipped Feta Dip


Serving: 2 Prepping Time: 5 minutes Cooking Time: 0-5 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 cup crumbled feta

  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling

  • 1 tablespoon hot honey


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta, cottage cheese, olive oil, and hot honey.

  2. Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients until the mixture becomes thick, rich, and creamy.

  3. Transfer the blended mixture to an oven-safe dish and drizzle a bit of olive oil on top.

  4. Preheat the oven's broiler to 500°F.

  5. Place the dish in the oven and broil for about 5 minutes or until the cheese starts bubbling and turns lightly brown.

  6. Once done, remove the dish from the oven.

  7. Top the hot honey-whipped feta dip with chopped roasted pistachios, an additional drizzle of hot honey, and freshly chopped herbs, such as thyme and sage.

  8. Serve the dip alongside the toasted za’atar pita bread.
