Low Calorie Sour Gummy Bears


Serving: 6 Prepping Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 0 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS


For each flavor:

For the sour coating

  • 1 tbs powdered low carb sweetener

  • ¼ tsp citric acid


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Gently cook one flavor of Jello, one envelope of unflavored gelatin, ¼ tsp of citric acid and ¼ cup of water in a small saucepan over a low heat, until all the crystals have dissolved.

  2. Remove from the heat and use the dropper to fill the 50 cavities of one mold.

  3. Repeat with the two other flavors.

  4. Leave the bears at room temperature until fully set - at least an hour.

  5. Carefully remove them from the molds and place in a bowl. In a smaller bowl, mix together more citric acid and the powdered sweetener.

  6. Add the citric acid mixture to the gummy bears and stir well to mix.
